Service Description
Occupational Therapy focuses on developing the foundational skills children need to participate in daily activities at home, school, and in the community. Areas we support: ✏️ Fine Motor Skills & Handwriting Some children struggle with holding pencils, cutting with scissors, drawing shapes, or completing classroom tasks. OT helps build the hand strength, coordination, and control needed for writing and other detailed tasks. 🎧 Sensory Processing Some children experience the world more intensely through their senses. They may be sensitive to sounds, textures, or movement, or seek extra sensory input. OT helps children understand and regulate their sensory needs so they can feel comfortable and engaged. 🍎 Feeding & Mealtime Challenges We support children who experience picky eating, food aversions, difficulty chewing, or stressful mealtimes by building oral motor skills and creating positive food experiences. 🧦 Self-Care & Independence Some children need extra support learning everyday skills such as dressing, brushing teeth, toileting, or using utensils. OT helps children build the confidence and motor skills needed for independence. 🧠 Attention & Self-Regulation OT helps children develop body awareness, emotional regulation strategies, and attention skills to better manage classroom demands and daily routines. 🎒 School Readiness We support children in preparing for school by developing foundational skills such as sitting tolerance, following routines, motor planning, and early writing skills. - Types of Sessions: o Assessment (First Appointment) - 60 minutes - $200 o Regular Session - 50 minutes - $150 o Extended Session - 75 minutes - $240
