With more than 30 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families, Tina offers parent coaching that is compassionate, practical, and grounded in a deep understanding of child development, behaviour, and family relationships. She helps parents better understand their children’s needs while building confidence, clarity, and connection within the family. Tina holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Social Relations from the University of Guelph and is certified in Play Therapy. She is also fluent in Spanish, allowing her to support Spanish-speaking families in a meaningful and accessible way. Throughout her career, Tina has worked across school systems, private practice, and community settings, providing individual and group support, developing behaviour and social skills programs, and collaborating closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. She brings extensive experience supporting parents of neurodiverse children, helping caregivers recognize their child’s strengths, understand challenges, and respond with effective, relationship-based strategies. Tina supports families navigating emotional regulation, challenging behaviour, anxiety, social difficulties, grief, family transitions, school-related concerns, neurodiversity, and parent-child communication. Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental, with a focus on practical tools that parents can use at home to create greater calm, consistency, and connection. As a parent and grandparent herself, Tina brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her work. Outside of her practice, she enjoys hiking, yoga, travelling, and reading.
